IM LOVING IT!!

So i am now 28 weeks pregnant with our first baby. It has been a simple, easy going pregnancy. Everyone has their scares, concerns and appointments but i actually enjoy being pregnant and i am SO looking forward to being a mom! We have now picked a name for our son, he is to be named Brayden Charles Robertson. Brayden was chosen because Josh liked the name Bray and i liked the name Hayden..we combined our two favorite names. Charles is named after Josh's dad whose name was Floyd Charles Robertson. We are looking forward to meeting our son in december. We have all our babies supplies thanks to mainly my sister and my BFF throwing me a baby shower. I love all the support of family and friends, just wish i had all of them with me in Texas so that i could have everyone with me when he is born!! We are planning on moving back to GA in Jan/Feb time frame and we both cannot wait till that time comes. I wish everyone the best and to all my friends who are pregnant and expecting their first babies i wish you all the luck and joy and happiness that a new little one brings!!

WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!

SO just to update everyone we have been living in TX for the past five months and we have gone home to visit family in GA in April, we also went to CA to visit my best friend Amanda and Josh's sister Amanda and her small family for a few days. While we were there, I spent a weekend with Amanda and her hubby Josh. We decided to spend a girls night out, we got our nails done and i tested to see if I was pregnant, with my best friend near by I found out I WAS!! we went out to dinner to celebrate. When Josh and Josh came home from their night out, i surprised Josh by putting the test in the bathroom where his toothbrush should have been. He was so excited. The pregnancy really hit reality at 6 weeks, I hit the morning, actually "all-day" sickness. It lasted for the next 4 to 5 weeks. After that phase, it has been smooth sailing. We did have a slight scare and went to the ER to be on the safe side and we got to see our baby for the first time at 11 weeks. I also got to see the baby again at 14 weeks because my sister had a Ultrasound Tech student who needed training. We then went to PA to visit all my extended family, and for Josh to meet everyone up there (Grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc). It was a blast to go to Jim Thorpe, the old jail, and Hershey!!
WE just had out 19 week appointment on Aug. 6th and we found out we are having a BOY!! He is so photogenic and adorable! Even though the ultrasounds make him look funny, his movements, hands and feet are so cute. He is mommy's little wiggle worm, and it is all so surreal. I LOVE IT!!
WE are excited to be having a baby this year, due 12/30/09.

YEE HAW!! TEXAS!!

So here i am in Texas, life has been pretty busy, but wait i am getting ahead of myself....let me lay it down for you all who have been out of touch.

Back in 2008 My husband Josh got deployed to Iraq for his second time (first time since we were married) I conitnued to live in GA with my family and his while he was gone. I became close friends with his brother and his high school friend, Barak, along with his 2 yr girlfriend, Chelsea. I got to learn more about myself and him by talking to him on the phone, atleast once a day, if we were lucky. He got to come home after 8 months of being there for mid tour to share our 1st year anniversary together and Thanksgiving with the families. He of course was taken away again to return to play in the sandbox. The last four months were busy, on planning and renting an apartment and getting ready, packing and moving to Texas, where i reside right now.

Josh came home March 7th. My dad came out with me to help me move all the heavy stuff in. Well i was sent an email that told me josh was coming home on Sunday the 8th, but to my surprise, josh called on thursday and was like see you on Saturday. I freaked and my dad and i drove 15 hrs straight to get to Fort hood on firday. We moved everything in on Sat. morning and went to the bas in plenty of time to get Josh. When we got there we, along with hundreds of families, lined up on a chalk line and waited for them all to arrive in buses from the airfield. When they finally arrived they had them all line up behind the buses. Everyone in the crowd started to shout, "move that bus" over and over. Finally they moved the buses to display the entire 4th ID. They all marched forward to a line that was a good 50 ft in front of us. I was worried that i would not find him in the crowd of people and 4th ID members. I saw a guy in the front with a huge grin and looked so anxious. It took forever, they say a prayer and then you have to wait for 5-10 mins for a guy to say RELEASE. when he finally said that special word, Josh was the first one to me. He picked me up and just held me. The wait was over, now we are just adjusting to being under the same roof in a strange place. We have our good days and bad days like any married couple but we will get through it with patience and understanding.

Anyway so here i am in TX for the next 9-10 months and going to make the best of it. I miss my famile and my friends but my love for Josh is more important. If your ever in TX give me a call!?
